You’ve been battling anxiety for too long and I know how exhausting that can be. Let’s change the way that you relate to your emotions so that you can make space for them while still fully engaging in your life!

There may be a level of worry or stress that's new to you, especially when it comes to your teenager who might be feeling overwhelmed. It's important to remember that you are not stuck in this situation. By gaining a deeper understanding of your nervous system, your identity, and your vision for your life, you can begin to see positive shifts in your emotional well-being.

I am here to support you on a journey that goes beyond merely coping with anxiety. Together, we’ll embark on an intentional path to rediscover who you are and what brings you joy and peace. My holistic approach to therapy integrates somatic (mind-body) therapy, Brainspotting, mindfulness, self-compassion, and cognitive-behavioral techniques, all aimed at helping you achieve lasting healing.

We will explore the root causes of your challenges, while you develop skills to authentically engage in school, work, and your relationships—whether with friends, family, or partners. This process will help you express your true self and align your actions with your core values.

I recognize that BIPOC women, especially Asian-American women, face unique challenges and stigmas related to mental health within our communities. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where individuals feel empowered to seek help. I understand that reaching out for support can be daunting, but I am here to listen and offer guidance without judgment. Together, we can break down barriers and promote a deeper understanding of mental well-being. Your mental health is important, and I am dedicated to supporting you on your journey.

When you are stuck in anxiety…

All of the advice, social media videos, quotes and well-meaning suggestions from family and friends about how to 'get over it' can feel overwhelming. What you truly need is not another voice telling you what to do, but a compassionate and supportive space to engage in the deep work of emotional regulation, soothing your nervous system, and clarifying your identity. I take the time to understand you holistically—who you are in your various identities, your family dynamics, your work or school environment, your dreams, and your desires. Together, we will discover how to embrace joy, foster thriving relationships, and build a life that aligns with your true self.

I understand what it is like to be in that place.

Here are the things that influence the way that I do therapy:

  • Years of holistic training in multiple forms of therapy ranging from cognitive to mindfulness-based

  • My own lived experience as a first-generation Asian-American woman and first in my family to finish graduate school

  • My love for research and learning new ways to support clients: I am always on the lookout for new ways to facilitate healing

  • The practices that have helped me in my own healing journey

There were multiple points in my life where I had to get serious about my own healing and emotional wellbeing and break down ideas that I learned that normalized emotional pain and suffering. That is why I am so passionate about helping clients to do the same.

I support you in finding your way forward with greater wellbeing.

That means your therapy goals could look like learning new mindfulness practices, healing long-standing relational wounds, making everyday choices with more intention, or communicating better with loved ones.
